How is it possible that we’re already a third of the way through 2025? I feel like we were just celebrating Christmas and ringing in the new year! We’ve had a busy first few months of birthdays, sports, and just every day life. Here’s a little bit of what we’ve been up to.
Ringing in the New Year
We surprised the kids and went bowling early on NYE and I think it was safe to say they all had a good time with some fun family competition. We decided to ring in the New Year at home this year and celebrated with bringing fast food home for dinner, games, and a midnight countdown.

Mason’s Basketball Season
Mason decided to try basketball this year and we are sooo proud of him. He had an amazing season playing for the YMCA; with the biggest fans cheering him on on the sidelines. Basketball is definitely his sport!
Prom Dress Shopping
Kaylei and I had a mother daughter afternoon and went and found her prom dress. She tried on quite a few and the one she decided on is so flattering and perfect on her.
Mahkena’s Birthday
Miss Mahkena Lillie is officially a teenager. We had family over to celebrate her turning the big 13!
Laker’s Vs. Bucks Game
We surprised Mason with tickets to his first NBA game to see the LA Lakers play the Milwaukee Bucks. I’m not sure what we enjoyed watching more…the game or his excitement about it all. I love this kid’s passion for the sport.
We’ve had such a great start to 2025 and can’t wait to see what the rest of the year has in store!
